The situation inside the prisons is unbearable and the attack against detainees is increasing
The head of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs MG.Qadri Abu Baker assured that the situation inside the prisons is unbearable, and that the break-ins and attacks on detainees are increasing, the last of which is the violent break-in of section (16) at Ofar prison.
Abu Baker expressed his deep concerns towards the prison’s policy in targeting the stability of the daily life of detainees, which is proceeding within a systematic plan supported by the highest political and military parties in the occupation's government.
- Qadri Abu Baker called on the international community to end the attack against detainees immediately, and to hold Israel accountable for its crimes and its violations of international laws, conventions and treaties.
Abu Baker's statements came during honoring the detainees Ramez Rimawi and Nour Abu Rjeleh.
