The Commission of Detainees' Affairs reveals testimonies of three minors who have been tortured and abused during arrest

on . Posted in slider

The Commission stated that the occupation authorities resorted to abusive and barbaric methods in dealing with Palestinian detainees, especially children  where they are subjected to different forms of physical and psychological torture during arrest and in interrogation sessions.
A case in point is the minor Malek Abu Hashash from Hebron. He has been arrested with two of his friends, where the Israeli forces attacked them and beat them violently. Then, they handcuffed the boys and took them to close military camp, and then they transferred them to Megiddo prison , and did not stop the attack and beat along the way.
Another case in point is the minor Loay Jbour  (16 years old) from Nablus. He has been attacked by Israeli forces in Kufr Kasem village (occupied territories), and arrested under the pretext of not having permit. The boy got injuries due to the severe beating and bruises on his mouth and forehead.  They transferred him to Betah Tekva interrogation center for 21 days and then moved him to the minors' section at Megiddo prison.
The last case in point is the minor Muhammad Qaq (17 years old) from Salfit. He got attacked in his work place, where the Israeli forces opened fire and started to shoot in the air and threaten other workers. They beat him, handcuffed and blindfolded his eyes. He has been transferred to Jalamah interrogation center and remained there for 20 days.  Then they transferred him to Megiddo prison.
