The Head of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs, Qadri Abu Baker, met the deputy manager of the International delegation of the Red Cross Mr. Roberto Pitronio at the headquarter of the commission in Ramallah.

Abu Baker reviewed all the violations that detainees suffer from, especially in light of the Corona virus pandemic, the outcomes of dozens of infections among detainees in addition to what happened at Ofer prison of suppression and humiliation, which came as a result of the pressure practiced by the extremist parties in the Israeli Knesset.

He talked about the suppressive policy of isolation, where the detainees Omar Khurwat and Hatem Qawasmeh are isolated in Ayalaon and Megiddo prisons for 6 months. He also asked for releasing the detainee Fuad Shobaki and the sick detainees, and allowing detainees to have books and clothes.

Abu Baker reviewed the Israeli terrorism and the robbery of the financial dues of Palestinians, the issues of the financial crises and salaries and enacting racist laws against detainees.
