Brief on detention campaigns carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities 
 
 Ramallah 
 December 17, 2023 
 
 The Israeli authorities arrested (20) citizens from the West Bank last night. Detention cases were concentrated in Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah and Tulkarem, which witnessed a massive aggression that led to the martyrdom of 5 citizens, besides to vandalism carried out in Nour Shams camp. 
 
 The Commission and the Prisoner’s Club confirmed that the Israeli authorities increased detention campaigns in the light of mass aggression against our people and the genocide in Gaza, targeting all categories of the Palestinian society, including women, children, elderly people and liberated detainees who served long years in prison. 
 
 Accordingly, (4540) arrest cases have been recorded since October 7, including those who were arrested from their homes, checkpoints and others who surrendered themselves under threat and held as hostages.
