The Israeli authorities arrested (40) citizens from the West Bank

 * (2080) arrest cases have been recorded since the 7th of October

 November 5, 2023

The Israeli authorities mounted a new campaign of arrests in the West Bank afflicting (40) Palestinians , including three journalists. Arrests were focused in Ramallah and Jenin, followed by Hebron, Nablus, Tulkarem and Tubas, and accompanied by torture and abuse against detainees and their families.

Moreover, many workers have been arrested, but there is no accurate data on their numbers and IDs. The number of arrests since the 7th of October stands at (2080), including those who have been arrested from their houses, checkpoints and those who surrendered themselves.

It is worth mentioning that arrest campaigns and collective punishment constitute the most prominent firm policies pursued by the Israeli authorities, in order to undermine the actions of struggle.
