Fares: Intelligence officers compete on publishing the overnight arrests

The head of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs,  Qaddura Fares, stated that the reduced ethics of the occupation system violates the humanitarian standards and the principles of international humanitarian law.

Fares pointed out that the increasing arrests against the Palestinian people comes due to the competition between intelligence officers on social media platforms,  where they post the incursions and vandalism acts on Facebook. In addition,  they publish pictures of detainees while being handcuffed and blindfolded.

Fares called upon international human rights organisations to assume their responsibility toward the Palestinian people,   and to hold Israel accountable for these violations that contradict international agreements and charters.
