Latest updates on detainees' conditions in Israeli prisons

🔺️ The Commission of Detainees' Affairs revealed deliberate medical malpractices against both detainees Nidal Meshaal and Muez Hussain, where they are suffering from intensive health conditions due to the policy of medical ignorance.

🔸️ Detainee Nidal Numan Meshaal from Tulkarem suffers from enlargement of neck arteries as a result of a dental anesthesia.
It is worthy to mention that this is the fourth detention for him and he's sentenced to 20 months, and supposed to be released in 23/10/2023.

🔸️Detainee Muez Ahmad Hussain, 24, from Nablus, suffers from dermal irritation and spots on his body since 2018. He was diagnosed by a doctor on the telephone and he was given medications without any checks, which caused nerve damage.
It is worthy to mention that he's detained since 2018, and sentenced to 19 years.

🔺️ The Commission warned of a real state of tension in the Israeli prisons due to ignoring the demands of administrative detainees.

🔺️ The Commission stated that the increasing rise in administrative detainees figures is a real indicator that the military and political instructions allowed Israeli officers to implement collective punishment against detainees and their families.

🔺️ The Commission pointed out that 5 detainees started an open hunger strike, protesting against their administrative detention. They keep going on their escalation program against the administration of prisons, where they implement daily protest steps represented in returning meals, boycotting clinics, closing sections and refusing to take any medication.
