Intense restrictions against the detainees Shahin and Jaradat at Al-ramla hospital

The Commission of Detainees' Affairs published in a report issued today the details of hard conditions faced by both detainees Fatima Shahin and Etaf Jaradat at Al-ramla prison.

The lawyer of the Commission, Fawaz Shalloudi, stated that the injured detainee Shahin is accompanied by the detainee Jaradat.
She got injured in the spinal cord and abdomen during arrest, which caused paralysis, and she still suffers from severe pain that prevents her from sleeping.

The administration of prisons imposes additional punishments, where she is deprived of family visits and phone calls.

The Commission confirmed that both detainees live in bad conditions at Al-ramla prison,  where they suffer from the following:

1. The room is very narrow and they can't move inside it

2. The room has no windows and the ventilation is very poor

3. There is just one bed for Fatima, where Etaf sleeps on the chair

4. When Etaf started to accompany Fatima,  the administration of prisons deprived her of family visits

5. Fatima is prevented from making phone calls

6. The yard of prison is very dirty
