* A Palestinian militant from the displaced village in 1948, Sawafeer, near Ashdod.
* He was born on October 1972 in Al-Nusairat camp/ Gaza.
* A field struggler in the two Intifadas
* A leader of the Captive Movement, spent 33 years in prison
* He grew up in Al- Amaari camp/ Ramallah
* His march of struggle started since his childhood, where he was arrested for the first time at the age of 12
* He got injured many times and subjected to assassination attempts
* His last detention was in 2002, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment in addition to 50 years
* He was subjected to a medical crime on 2021, represented in leaving him a victim of cancer
* He left 4 siblings in Israeli prisons ( Nasr, Muhammad, Shareef and Islam) , all of them are sentenced to life imprisonment
* He has a martyr brother (Abdul Men'em Abu Hmaid)
* His house was demolished 5 times
* With his martyrdom, the number of Captive Movement martyrs risen to 233
