Brutal torture of a Palestinian child led to injuries and bleeding

The lawyer of the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Luai Ukkeh, reported that the 14-year-old child, Suliman Al Debes, from Ayda camp/ Bethlehem was exposed to brutal torture and humiliation by the Israeli soldiers and investigators. He was arrested in 18/9/2017 and jailed at Ofer Prison.

Ukkeh, who visited the child, said that the child was arrested at 3:00 am after storming his house. Soldiers took him out of his house, beat him and handcuffed him.

He also said that the child was taken to a military camp near (Rachel tomb) and beaten by soldiers on his head which caused severe pain.

After that, they took him to an interrogation center at Jabal Abu Ghnaim settlement, and there the investigator shouted, cursed and threatened him to arrest his parents if he does not respond to them.

The detainees said that one of the interrogators had grabbed his neck and hit his head to the wall, resulting in a wound in his mouth and lips. Interrogators did not provide him any medical treatment, but continued the interrogation despite his pain and wounds.
