🔺Brief on detention campaigns carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities 

 

 Ramallah 

 November 23, 2023 

 The Israeli authorities arrested (90) citizens from the West Bank , including a woman from Tubas city, in addition to former detainees. 

 

 Arrests were concentrated in Arroub camp/ Hebron and Azzoun village/ Qalqilia, afflicting (36) citizens, where detention campaigns were accompanied by torture and intense beat, threats to detainees and their families, and house vandalism. 

 

 Furthermore, the Israeli authorities implemented an incursion to Balata refugee camp/ Nablus, conducting detention campaigns, but there is no accurate data on their numbers and identities. 

 

 Thereby, (3130) arrest cases have been recorded since October 7, including those who were arrested from their homes, checkpoints and others who surrendered themselves under threat and held as hostages. 

 

 The Commission and the prisoner’s club confirmed that the Israeli authorities pursued systematic detention campaigns as firm policy, which increased after the 7th of October,afflicting all categories of the Palestinian society.
