The Commission of Detainees' Affairs mourns its head, the national activist and fighter, M.G Qadri Abu Baker

The deputy of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs, Abdul Qader Khatib, the assistant deputies, the general managers and all employees of the Commission mourned the head of the Commission, M.G Qadri Abu Baker, who passed away due to a disastrous traffic accident near Jammaen/ Nablus, while he was in his way back from an activity which was arranged in solidarity with detainees' children.
The Commission of Detainees Affairs expresses its deepest condolences to the President Mahmood Abbas, the Palestinian leadership, the Captive Movement , Fatah Movement and the family of Qadri Abu Baker, asking God to bless him with his mercy and inspire his family patience and solace.
It is worthy to mention that M.G Qadri Abu Baker was born in Bedia/ Salfit in 1953. He was educated in Bedia and completed his secondary school exam from inside the Israeli prisons in 1974.
He had his bachelor degree in Political science from the Arab University of Bairout in 1991.
He became a member in Fatah Movement in 1968, and received martial trainings in Jordan and Iraq.
He was arrested during participating in transferring weapons to the West Bank and he was sentenced to 20 years and then he was displaced to Iraq.
He was designated as an office manager of Khalil Alwazeer in 1986, and he returned to the West Bank in 1996.
He became a member in the administrative committee of the national authority of retired martials, and then a member of the Revolutionary Council of Fatah Movement
He became the head of the Commission of Detainees' Affairs in 2018 with a minister rank, and he was given the membership of the Palestinian National Council.
