A case in point is detainee Walid Daqqa (Abu Milad), who martyred on April 7, 2024 at Asaf Harofeh Hospital, after 38 years of imprisonment, in which he confronted torture, assault, deprivation and isolation, in addition to a series of medical crimes. He passed away without seeing his family as the IPS deprived him of family visits since October 7. His health conditions deteriorated over the past months, which led to his martyrdom. It is worth mentioning that his remain is still withheld by the occupation until today.
. Number of martyrs whose remains still withheld stands at (27), the oldest of whom is detainee Anees Dolah, whose body is withheld since 1980.

. Total number of arrests: (8270) in the West Bank


. Women: (275) women have been arrested ( including women arrested from the lands occupied in 1948, in addition to Gazan women who have been arrested in the West Bank.

. Children: (520) children have been arrested

. Journalists: (66) journalists have been arrested, (45) of them are still under arrest, and (23) sentenced to administrative detention

. More than (5168) orders of administrative detention have been issued since October 7


Detention campaigns are accompanied by many crimes and violations such as brutal beat, vandalism and destruction in detainees’ houses, confiscating cars, gold and money, in addition to the destruction of infrastructure especially in the refugee camps of Tulkarem and Jenin.

Statistics include detainees who were arrested from their houses, on checkpoints, who surrendered themselves and those who were arrested as hostages.

Besides to detention campaigns, the Israeli forces implemented field executions, afflicted detainees and their family members.

Data does not include detention cases of Gaza, due to the occupation’s refusal to give information and practicing the crime of forcible hide against them. It is worth mentioning that the occupation forces arrested hundreds of Gazan workers in the West Bank, in addition to citizens from Gaza who were previously in the West Bank for medical treatment.
. (240) detainees were liberated by the exchange deal on November 2023, but the Israeli authorities arrested (15) of them, including (5) children and (4) detainees.
