 The Israeli authorities mounted a massive detention campaign in the West Bank, afflicting (30) citizens, where detention cases have been concentrated Ramallah, Jericho, Qalqilia, Jenin and Salfit 
 
 Accordingly, the number of arrest cases carried out after the 7th of October stands at (4605).

Israeli violations against Palestinian detainees 
 
 
🔺️ The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that the Israeli authorities tend to use the policy of excessive force and torture against young men during arrest. 
Cases in point:
 
▫️Detainee Rabea Shihab, 29, from Jenin. The Israeli authorities arrested him after breaking into his house and destroying its belongings. He was subjected to harsh beating and then he got transferred to Huwara investigation center.
 
▫️Detainee Hamza Reyad,  29, from Tulkarem.  He was arrested after storming his house. They blindfolded him and he got handcuffed by thin plastic ties, which caused wounds in his hands. He is still held at Huwara investigation center.
 
🔺️ The Commission stated that three detainees in Negev prison are suffering from the policy of medical ignorance. 
Cases in point: 
 
▫️Detainee Samer Shroukh, 46, from Thaherya/Hebron.
He suffers from acceleration of heartbeat, but the administration of prisons only performed routine checks and gives him organizers for heartbeat and blood thinners. 
 
▫️Detainee Ahmad Awwad, 42, from Tulkarem. 
He had 3 strokes during his detention and he was receiving medical care in Soroka hospital. He's only given blood thinners and heartbeat organizers. In addition, he suffers from toothache, but the administration of prisons refused to take him to a dental clinic. 
 
▫️Detainee Omar Kmail, 50, from Jenin. He suffers from loss of focus and amnesia, due to the hunger strike he was involved in for 20 days, protesting against his administrative detention.
 
🔺️ The Commission said that the detainee Thaer Masarwa is deprived of education, and he has critical injury. 
 
The Israeli authorities stormed his house and inspected under the pretext of searching for weapons. He was subjected to harsh beating, and the soldiers did not take into account his injured arm, which is amputated due to bomb explosion.
It is worthy to mention that Masarwa is a student who was having the Tawjihi (High school final exams), and he was arrested before the last exam. Thus, he is deprived of his right to education and he got sentenced to 4 months of administrative detention.

 The Israeli authorities arrested (12) citizens from the West Bank last night , including a child. Detention cases were carried out in Hebron, Jenin, Bethlehem and Tubas, where arrests were accompanied by destruction to citizens houses.
 
 Thereby , (3680)arrest cases have been recorded since October 7, including those who were arrested from their homes, checkpoints and others who surrendered themselves under threat and held as hostages. 
 
 The Israeli forces have arrested tens of Gazan workers from Bethlehem, Tulkarem and Nablus in the light of the mass aggression and genocide in Gaza.

The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs reveals the difficult and harsh conditions in which the isolated detainee Marah Bakeer lives 
 
 
 The commission of Detainees’ Affairs reported today’s evening that the Israeli Prison Service continued to isolate the women detainees representative Marah Bakeer, 23, from Jerusalem, where she was moved recently to the isolation of Al-jalamah prison after storming the section of women detainees at Damoun prison, using tear gas and brutal assault against them, within the frame of retaliatory attack against detainees in all Israeli prisons. 
 
 The Commission pointed out the Marah Bakeer informed her lawyer, Hanan Khatib , that she is held in a small and rotten cell, with no place to take shower. She is prevented from going to the prison’s yard and she is still in the same clothes since isolating her. 
 
 Marah stated that the cell have surveillance cameras, which violates her privacy. In addition, the bed cover is dirty and stinky, that does not protect her from the cold weather. She is also deprived of having medical checkups since her isolation. 
 
 The Commission indicated that Bakeer was arrested on October 12, 2015 , when she was only 16 years old, after shooting her by the Israeli soldiers in her way back from school. She is sentenced to 8 years and a fine of 10000 ILS.

Detainee Khalil Abu Eram continues his hunger strike for the third day in solidarity with striking detainees in bad conditions at Ashkelon prison

The advocate of the Commission, Kareem Ajwa, stated that the detainee Khalil Abu Eram from Yatta/ Hebron continues his hunger strike for the third day, in solidarity with striking detainees who are protesting against their administrative detention.

Ajwa pointed out that the detainee Khalil Abu Eram, who is sentenced to life imprisonment, entered a hunger strike last Sunday in solidarity with detainees striking in a protest against administrative detention and he will stop drinking water tomorrow.

Abu Eram said to Ajwa that he got punished by the administration of prison and held at a cell, prevented form family visits and the cantina for two months and a fine of 550 NIS.

He said that the cell has a stinky smell, with one old mattress, and there are no electric appliances.

🔺Brief on detention campaigns carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities Ramallah November 18, 2023 The Israeli authorities arrested (40) citizens from the West Bank last night. Arrests were concentrated in Hebron, which witnessed the highest rate of arrests since October 7. Detention campaigns were accompanied by torture, intense beat, threats to detainees and their families, and house vandalism. Thereby, (2850) arrest cases have been recorded since October 7, including those who were arrested from their homes, checkpoints and others who surrendered themselves under threat and held as hostages. The Commission and the prisoner’s club confirmed that the Israeli authorities pursued systematic detention campaigns as firm policy, which increased after the 7th of October, besides to the continuous field executions. * Data included detainees who still under arrest and released ones * Data includes approximate numbers due to the massive detention campaigns, and figures are subject to change

🔺️ The Commission of Detainees' Affairs reveals cases of deliberate medical ignorance against Palestinian detainees:
 
🔸️ Detainee Nathir Dar Ahmad, 21, from Ramallah,  suffers from a difficult health situation,  where he was injured with 25 live bullets during arrest. He has intense pain in the stomach and back, where he's unable to stand or walk. He needs a special kind of needle, but the administration of prisons give him painkillers to stop the pain temporarily.
 
 
🔸️Detainee Ahmad Kaabnah, 53, from Jericho: he suffers from prostate disease since 6 years and needs an urgent surgery, but the administration of prisons keeps procrastinating in his treatment.  
He is detained since 26 years and sentenced to life imprisonment.
 
🔸️Detainee Sameer Abu Ne'meh, 63, from Jerusalem:
He suffers from difficult health situation due to the harsh conditions of detention and interrogation, besides to the deliberate medical ignorance to his case, where he has pain in his right arm due to torture and beating during interrogation. He also suffers from intense pain in his backbone, and shoulder tendon rupture. 
He is detained before the Oslo Accord in 1986 and sentenced to life imprisonment.

The occupation authorities file an indictment against the injured detainee Basel Shawamra

The commission of detainees' affairs stated that the so-called Israeli public prosecution filed an indictment against the 17-years-old detainee Basel Shawamra from Hebron, who is accused of a stabbing attack in the central bus station in Jerusalem two weeks ago.

The commission added: the occupation fabricated many charges against the detainee such as “murder attempt”, belonging to terrorist organizations and incitement on terrorism, in accordance with the indictment.

The commission stated that the detainee Shawamra was injured as he was shot by the Israeli police, and he is currently held at the clinic of Ramla prison.
