Brief on detention campaigns carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities Ramallah November 17, 2023 The Israeli authorities arrested (47) citizens from the West Bank last night. Arrests were concentrated in Nelin village/ Ramallah, afflicting (26) citizens. Detention campaigns were accompanied by torture, intense beat, threats to detainees and their families, and house vandalism. Thereby, (2800) arrest cases have been recorded since October 7, including those who were arrested from their homes, checkpoints and others who surrendered themselves under threat and held as hostages. The Commission and the prisoner’s club confirmed that the Israeli authorities pursued systematic detention campaigns as firm policy, which increased after the 7th of October, besides to the continuous field executions. * Data included detainees who still under arrest and released ones
