The Israeli authorities arrested (85) citizens from the West Bank last night, including Fayrouz Salamah, a postgraduate student at Birziet University. She was arrested from the university residence.

Arrests were concentrated in Hebron,Qalqilia and Ramallah , where some detainees have been released later.

Detention campaigns were accompanied by torture, intense beat, threats to detainees and their families, and house vandalism.

The Commission and the prisoner’s club confirmed that the Israeli authorities escalated the brutal arrest campaigns, in the light of the mass aggression against our people and the genocide in Gaza, afflicting all categories of the Palestinian society, including women and children and former detainees who served many years in prisons.
