In implementation of the instructions of the extremist minister Ben Gvir Commission of Detainees' Affairs: the administration of prisons deducts the fees of dental clinic from canteen funds
The Commission of Detainees' Affairs stated that the administration of Israeli prisons started to deduct from the canteen funds allocated to detainees, who have dental diseases due to the policy of medical ignorance. The Commission pointed out that the administration of prisons set the fee to (175) NIS per hour in the dental clinic of the prison, where the period of treatment is determined by the doctor, and he does not exceed the time limit. The Commission indicated that this procedure comes in line with a series of retaliatory measures issued by the right-wing extremist government controlled by the extremist minister Ben Gvir, who calls for turning detainees' lives into hell. The Commission called upon international human rights organisations, especially the World Health Organisation, to intervene immediately and put an end to this inhumane and unethical extremism, and oblige Israel to fulfil its commitments toward Palestinian detainees.
