🔺Brief on detention campaigns carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities

 

 Ramallah 

 December 4, 2023 

 The Israeli authorities arrested (60) citizens from the West Bank last night , including former detainees. Arrests were concentrated in Duhaisha refugee camp/ Bethlehem.

 

 Detention campaigns were accompanied by torture, intense beat, threats to detainees and their families and destruction of people’s homes, in addition to arresting people as hostages. 

 

 The Commission and the Prisoner’s Club confirmed that the Israeli authorities increased detention campaigns in the light of mass aggression against our people and the genocide in Gaza, targeting all categories of the Palestinian society, including women, children, elderly people and liberated detainees who served long years in prison. 

 

 Accordingly, (3540) arrest cases have been recorded since October 7, including those who were arrested from their homes, checkpoints and others who surrendered themselves under threat and held as hostages.
